As reported in this earlier post, the Golden Spike Chapter of the R&LHS was able to redirect funding to the Brigham City Railroad Museum. We’re happy to report that all repairs are now complete.
The floor replacement at the Brigham City Depot has been completed. Norm Nelson, president of the Utah State Railroad Museum Authority (USRMA), says that there were three layers of old flooring that had to be taken up before the new flooring could be laid. He indicates that the results are beautiful and closely match what would have been historically accurate for the building. Norm did a great job finding the right contractor and specifying what was needed for the depot.
